For sore, red post operative or accident scars and stitching, an excellent tip, once the wound has closed properly and so long as there is no infection use a mixture of amica cream and angelsword. To make angel cream, mix a 5p sized blob of arnica cream with two drops of angelsword and apply topically twice daily. It speeds healing, soothes soreness and reduces the angry appearance of recently sutured areas. Arnica can be bought in most chemists. If your scars are inflamed or puffy, check with your doctor as the area is probably infected and may need additional medical treatment.
