The technology has widely grown in recent years. Touch screen technology replaced the buttons and keypad used in mobile phones. This technology was introduced at higher cost, but now it becomes common due to the reduced cost. This technology is developed to recognize the person’s touch on the screen. The resistive, capacitive and surface acoustic waves are the three basics system behind this technology. The resistive consists of a glass panel, which covered with the conductive and resistive metallic layer. The layers are separated by spacers and scratch layer is placed on the top. An electric current will run via these two layers. The two layers come in contact when user touches the screen. The change in the electric current will identified and calculated by the computer. The special drive installed in the system will performs the user operation when person touch the screen. The electric charge will be stored on the capacitive system. The charge will decrease on this system when user touches the screen. The circuits are loaded on all corner of the monitor to measure the decreases. These differences will be passed to the computer driver software. This system will transmits 90 percent of light from the monitor, but resistive system transmits only 75 percent of light.
