Human needs energy to do work. The energy is obtained from the food which we eat. Each food gives us different kinds of energy. The carbohydrate is the important source of energy. Protein helps us in body building. Fats are also used to produce energy. All these forms are needed to our body in a balanced form. We should not have the excess of these energies. The reduction or excess of these energy can malnutrition in a person. The carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals all should be available to a person in a single diet. This is called as the balanced diet.

If you have diet with too much energy you will become over weight. The diet which doesn’t have enough energy will make you tired. The balanced diet will always keep you hale and healthy.
